On arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station & transfer to Kaziranga National Park, the home of “One Horned Rhinoceros”, Check in at your hotel. Evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

Early morning explore any one zone of Kaziranga National Park on back of Elephant. Apart from the Rhino, other species found are Hog Deer, Swamp Deer, Wild Buffalo, Elephants and if you are lucky then tiger also. It is also home to pelicans, storks and darters as there are a number of water bodies inside the Park. Return to the resort for breakfast. In the afternoon enjoy jeep safari through the National Park. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

After early breakfast proceed for Majuli (80 kms / 02 hrs) is the largest fresh water mid-river inhabited deltoid island in the world. Initially be driven upto Nimatighat and then cross mighty Brahmaputra River by local ferry (1hr downstream boat cruise – the time taken depends upon the water level of the river) to reach Majuli. On arrival explore Majuli, the Satra collectively known as Satras – the birth place of Vaishnavite culture in Assam. Later visit Pottery village and Mask making village. The masks of Majuli have uniqueness. These are made of clay, bamboo, cloth etc. Despite the size of the masks these are quite light in weight. Masks are made on all the characters of the Mahabharata, Ramayana, and Puranas. Later in the day get transferred to Jorhat. Again you would be crossing the mighty Brahmaputra River by Ferry. After reaching Nimatighat get driven to Jorhat. Arrive & check in to the hotel. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at Jorhat.

After breakfast start for Dibrugarh. Enroute stop at Sivasagar which was once the capital of the Ahom, showcasing Ahom monuments and temples which encompass the 600-year-old history of the Ahom Dynasty. Here you will visit Shiva Dol (The tallest Shiva temple in the entire north east), Shiva Sagar (tank) popularly known as Borpukhuri (manmade water Reservoir), Rang Ghar (Asia’s largest amphitheatre and was the cultural playground of the Ahom Swargadeos or kings) and Talatal Ghar (Palace of the King). Later proceed to Dibrugarh. On arrival check in at your hotel. Overnight stay at Dibrugarh.

Today morning after breakfast proceeds to Tinsukia, to board the cruise for Dibru Saikhuwa National park sightseeing. Dibru Saikhowa’s main attraction is the White Winged Wood Duck which stays happily in its natural habitat. Enjoy beach gathering, beach Volleyball during the cruise through National Park. Lunch, evening tea will be served on board. Evening drive back to Dibrugarh. Overnight stay at Dibrugarh.

Magnificient Meghalaya - Shillong 2N + Cherrapunjee 2N + Guwahati 2N - 6N-7D :

After breakfast we get ready for a half day trek to visit the Double Decker Living Root Bridge deep inside the jungle. It will take 3 to 4 hrs (depending on the physical fitness of the person). Afternoon visit Nohsngithiang Falls (also known as the Seven Sisters Waterfalls or Mawsmai Falls), Mawsmai Cave, Koh Ram Hah and Ecopark. Evening back to the hotel. Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee.

Manipur And Nagaland Tour - Dimapur 1N + Kohima 2N + Imphal 3N - 6N-7D :

On arrival at Dimapur Rly Station / Airport. Check-in to hotel. After fresh n up visit Ruins of Kachari Kingdom. Later spend time at Dimapur Market – One of the landmarks of the town is the famous market near the railway station where one can buy the goods imported from Myanmar and China. Back to the hotel. After breakfast visit The Kohima War Cemetery constructed in the memory of the officers and soldiers who made supreme sacrifices during World War II, the war cemetery attracts hundreds of visitors every year including the relatives of those martyrs. Maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, the cemetery witnessed more than 2000 graves, on each grave there are beautiful epitaphs carved in bronze. “When You Go Home, Tell Them Of Us And Say, For Your Tomorrow, We Gave Our Today”. Later an excursion to Khonoma Village, that lies 21 kms away from Kohima town the Khonoma village is the first “green village” of Nagaland. The village is well known for the legendary leader Angami Zapu Phizo who was the founder of the Naga movement. Later Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.

After early breakfast visit Imphal, Enroute visit Naga Heritage Village-the permanent site for Hornbill festival. You will pass through the border town of Mao which is the official border gate of Nagaland and Manipur. Check-in to hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Imphal.

Today after breakfast start for a Full day city tour of Imphal city. You will visit Kangla Fort & Kangla Museum (Wednesday closed), Govindajee Temple, Mahabali Temple, Imphal Museum, Second World War Cemeteries & IMA Market, an unique market run by the women only. After breakfast full day excursion to Loktak Lake and Sendra Island. Later visit to Keibul Lamjao National Park is sharing the border with Loktak Lake, the last natural habitat of the endangered marsh-dwelling brow-antlered deer of Manipur called “Sangai”. It is the only floating national park in the world which is composed of large masses of floating weed (called “Phumdi” in local dialect). Then visit INA Museum – the place where Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s India National Army first hoisted the Indian Tricolors. Visit Loukoi Pat – a picnic spot with boating facility. On your way back visit Japanese War Memorial (India Peace Memorial) which is situated at Red Hill, in Bishnupur District of Manipur. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay at Imphal.

On arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station & transfer to Manas National Park a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a tiger reserve. The focus point of Manas National Park is the enchanting Manas River, named after the serpent goddess Manasa. It is the largest Himalayan tributary of the mighty Brahmaputra. It lies on the international border with Bhutan. The National Park was designated as a Tiger Reserve in 1973 which is famous for its majestic Tiger and Golden Leaf Monkey discovered only a few decades ago. It is a paradise for bird lovers, many birds which can be seen here are the Giant Hornbills, Pheasants, Jungle Fowl, Scarlet Minivet, Partridge, Florican and variety of water birds. Arrive & check-in to the hotel. Enjoy the vicinity around the resort with the amount of time. Overnight stay at Manas.

This morning we will start our day little early and will move to the Elephant boarding point for our first Jungle ride (subject to availability) to the Manas National Park on an Elephant back. The one-hour Elephant safari will take us to the dense and narrow paths to increasing the chances of animal sighting. Later we will return to the hotel/resort for fresh-n-up and breakfast. After breakfast we will be ready for our half day Jeep Safari to the national park between Bansbari to Mathanguri Range. Return to hotel and rest of the day at leisure. It is located on the banks of the river Jia Bhoralli on the northern side of the Brahmaputra on the foothills of the great Himalayas in the District of Sonitpur, it is another Tiger Reserve and also a bird lovers’ paradise with more than 376 species of birds. After breakfast we will go on a fascinating river rafting on Jia Bhoralli River. For the same we will drive from the resort towards the river upstream, from where we will enjoy the downstream rafting on the inflatable raft. Here we will have a chance to see a lot of migratory waterfowl and if you are so lucky then one can even spot the Royal Bengal Tiger and the Elephant on the banks of the river from the boat. The stretch of rafting will take around two hours. After the river rafting return to the camp/resort/hotel. Afternoon we will go on a nature trail along the reserve. Here we will be accompanied with the knowledgeable forest guides and armed forest guards. The forest treks are the best way to explore the Nameri National Park as it allows you to get very close to the wildlife life. Here once can spot the rare species of white-winged wood ducks and the great hornbill. Evening return to the camp/resort/hotel. Overnight stay at Nameri.

On the way enjoy the beauty of Sela Pass (13700 Ft) a border line between two districts i.e Tawang & West KamengTawang, Sela Lake a small lake, which remains frozen for most of the year. Further drive to 10 kms visit Jaswantgarh War Memorial – a memorial to the brave soldier who single handily tried to hold of approaching Chinese from the pass during the 1962 Indo-Chinese war. After breakfast visit Tawang Monstery world famous seventeenth century Tawang Monastery, also known as Galden Namgyal Lhatse which overlooks the wide Tawang Valley at a height of 10,000 ft. The monastery is a vast complex of 65 buildings housing Lamas and antique scriptures written in gold letters and ancient scripture, images and has an eight meters high gilded Buddha statue. It is the largest monastery in the Himalayan region and the second oldest monastery in Asia. Five hundred lamas live in its residential buildings and it is rich in.
Later visit Urgeling Gompa, 6th Dalai Lama’s birth place who is the only Indian to have risen to such a high position in Gelupka Sect of Buddhism so far. Inside the monastery there are several Stupas (Vihar) and people from all walks of life visit this place during Buddhist new year to get the blessing for the coming year. Then proceed to the War Memorial which is dedicated to the martyrs of the 1962 Sino-Indian war. The memorial is 40-foot-high and like a stupa in design. It is locally called ‘Namgyal Chortan’. The names of 2420 martyrs imprinted in gold on 32 black granite plagues.
You can also visit the craft center in Tawang sells beautiful masks, hand woven carpets, jewellery in silver, coral and amber, ‘chubas’ the local dressand delightful affordable mementos. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Tawang.
